We are excited to introduce several new changes in effect at the Royal College! These changes are an important part of our commitment to modernize our programs and services to support your learning and practice improvement and help you connect with us with increasing ease.

Integrated, easy-to-navigate digital improvements

Implementation of new technology platforms is central to the transformation of your digital experience. Take a few moments to explore:

• Member Portal – A personalized, secure dashboard that allows you to access your profile, transactions and more.
• My Learning – The first iteration of the new, secure learning experience platform features a consolidation of Royal College instructor-led and self-study courses.
• Royal College website – A modernized royalcollege.ca includes improved website design, navigation and content.

Due to a known issue, we are aware that a small percentage of members (approximately two per cent) may experience an interruption in service. Should this occur, we encourage you to try to access the systems at a later point in time. We will work to address issues over the next few months to optimize your experience.

A refreshed Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program

The MOC Program evolved in response to member feedback and to more closely align with the realities of current practice. Learn more about the improvements to the five-year cycle requirements and the MOC Framework’s expanded learning options in all sections.

• My MOC – We will release the long-awaited replacement to MAINPORT within the next few weeks. My MOC is a secure, simple and mobile-friendly credit tracking platform for easy reporting. Our team is completing the final validation of the credit transfer from MAINPORT, as well as the system’s general performance. MAINPORT (desktop and application) will continue to be inaccessible during this interim period. (Note: the Resident ePortfolio still remains accessible by entering MAINPORT and selecting the CBD tab.) We will provide an update once My MOC is ready for you to begin adding your learning activities.
• My Learning – Later this year, future enhancements will enable members to discover, connect and share learning opportunities through different channels and eventually through online communities.
